Stapin and Jógvan I

The longliner Jógvan I joined the Framherji fleet in 2019.

The vessel’s fishing ground are waters around the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Flemish Cap and Greenland, where demersal species such as cod, haddock, saithe and tusk, are caught and processed onboard.

The fish is H&G or round frozen whole at sea.

The catch is offloaded in the Faroes and offered to Faroese and international companies.
